The truth is, without the right gear, that blissful moment can morph into a potentially life-threatening situation in an instant.

Let me take you back to a summer day I’ll never forget. My friend Jake, an avid boater and thrill-seeker, decided to take his new SUP out for a spin. He was certain he didn’t need a life jacket—after all, he was a strong swimmer and the weather was perfect. Minutes into his adventure, a sudden gust of wind sent him tumbling into the chilly waters. Panic set in as he realized how disoriented he was. Thankfully, he managed to grab onto his board, but the reality hit hard: a good life jacket could have turned a moment of fear into a minor mishap without the risk of drowning. That day underscored a critical lesson—when it comes to water activities, safety should never be second-guessed.

Title: Quality as expected
Review: While I like the old style cVest better, this is not bad. Well made, comfortable, easy to adjust for proper fit and has more room in the pockets than the picture indicates.

Title: Almost perfect vest for sea kayaking
Review: The vest is very comfortable to wear with the high back design, I have a Current Design Solstice GTS and the mesh back does a great job keeping me cool and comfortable on the lower back. The pocket will fit a marine radio and a bunch of other useful tools necessary for sea kayaking trips, and the bright green color paired with reflective strips is highly visible on the water. Adjustment of the vest is also very easy with multiple adjustment points. I only with some of the pockets would be slightly bigger to fit more things.

Title: FANTASTIC Lifejacket..love the pockets and hooks for paddle & kayak leashes!
Review: Wish I would have bought a lifejacket like this a LONG time ago, even back when we had the Malibu Competition Ski Boat.So I realize there are different purposes for different lifejackets (and “good looks” are important too when the fashion police come around). ;-)But I bought these because we don’t have a Malibu anymore (sold the fancy boat to help my young college students in other ways now) 😉 …but now we have kayaks. Plus, we love the pockets and all the hooks for paddle and kayak leashes and whistles and such. These are so comfortable for me…and my wife and daughters, too! Each size can cover a very WIDE range of sized people with each size (if that makes sense). 🙂 For example, I’m 6′-5″ and about 300 lbs and we bought 3 of these (2 of the XS/M for my wife and any potential “guest”…and mine is the XL/2XL)…and it fits me great with room to spare…where in other lifejackets I’d struggle like I’m in a tight girdle straight jacket in some lifejackets that were 3XL! In fact, I go so far as to say, that if I would have had this lifejacket back in the day…I would have been able to wear it while driving for youth groups from 8am to 8pm at night…I really like the freedom. So again, I know, probably not for slalom skiing at 40 mph…but it would be just fine for knee boarding, tubing and wakeboarding (would actually be very comfortable on tubes because of where the flotation is positioned high on the back).

Title: Good for Kayaking
Review: This is a great vest for when you are in a craft that requires paddling. I have 2 Kayaks on is a sit in and the other is a fishing Yak which is a sit on top. I had issues with paddling with my old vest, the inside of my arms would rub on the side making my skin red and soar. This vest is the solution to the problem. It works great and very comfortable to have on. The netting on the back is great for being able to lean back in the seat. I would recommend you read the pros and cons that come with this vest so that you know the cons. For kayaking I love it and I am on mostly smaller lakes so the cons do not worry me. I added a picture of the pros and cons that came with this vest. But I will say again it worked great for me when it comes to paddling the YAK.

Title: Great for chubby kayakers!
Review: I am a chubby kayaker. I don’t like getting chaffed under my arms. I do not want to carry a container of corn starch on my kayak. So this lifejacket is perfect. I wear a 44H sized bra and this lifejacket adjusts to fit them just fine. Hubs has a beer gut and he is comfy too. Who knows, maybe since we are kayaking more, we will downsize someday. lol. It’s constructed well. Our little tackle boxes do not fit in the front pockets, but that is not a deal breaker. Phones will fit and that is all we need. These are far better than the gas cannister ones we got that exploded when i capsized and scared the crap out of me. So there ya go.

Title: Pocket fits iphone 7 plus
Review: The pockets are good. I quickly switched to swimmer mode on the trip. So I didn’t use it much.

Title: Great vest, love it
Review: Used 3 times so far (kayaking), pockets are great, the back does not intefere with the seat at all. Bought one for me and the yellow/green one for my 16 year old, we both love this vest.

Title: Perfect for a small female
Review: First let me say I absolutely love the color. I am 5’1″, 130 lbs and it fits almost perfect. Due to my shorter torso I still get the lift up at the shoulders when I sit although not as bad as my previous. The pockets are perfect and easily accessible. They fit my phone and ear bud case without a problem. Back height is perfect for a taller kayak seat backrest. Overall I would recommend.
