Story: A Lesson Learned the Hard Way

Let’s rewind to last summer at a local beach getaway. My friend Sarah, an avid wake surfer, decided to opt for an old, heavily worn life jacket instead of her trusty neoprene vest. “What’s the worst that could happen?” she laughed as we loaded the boat. It wasn’t long before a sudden choppy wave sent Sarah tumbling into the water. Without the right support or buoyancy, she struggled against the waves that seemed to mock her. A moment of fun quickly turned into a frantic scramble for safety, reminding us all of the unpredictability of water sports. Thankfully, she was quickly rescued, but the close call served as a stark reminder of how crucial it is to wear equipment suited for the demands of the sport.

Title: Thin fit, works great!
Review: It’s a good snug fit. Swim in it with no problem. I’m sticking with this brand and need to buy three more. Great product

Title: Great jacket
Review: Love the fit. 5’9” got a L. Not so bulky, so able to move better with skiing. Still holds me out of the water.

Title: Well constructed and lightweight.
Review: Product is well constructed and lightweight. But, play close attention to sizing. My wife is a size 6 so we ordered the XS according to the fitting chart. XS was way too small. I ended up returning the XS model and ordered the Medium version. Fit is much better.

Title: Way too small
Review: Love the look of this vest but the sizing is way way off. I am normally a medium or large. I bought a large due to many reviews commenting on size and when I put it on the zippers were about 8 inches apart. Way way too small for a large. It would fit someone with a 26” waist

Title: soft & snug; teenagers prefer it
Review: This lifejacket is a favorite with our teenager. It is low profile and comfortable for general swimming and waking boarding or surfing. The XS was really small and good for 10-11 yo or a tiny pre-teen. We then ordered a small and its perfect for girls that are 5’0-5’4 and weigh 100-120lbs. They are intended to be snug and that’s ok, but the XS probably should be worn by anyone over 100 lbsThe guys jackets run small as well.

Reviewer: Not heavy at all, would not use for an heavy duty cleaning. Definitely gets the job done

Title: Does not improve surfing skills
Review: Love this vest, fits great and it gives me a slimmer profile than my bulkier neoprene vest (for waterskiing). However, it has not magically transformed me into an amazing wakesurfer who can do 360’s.. drat…was kinda hoping…

Title: Loved it, but returned it….
Review: Fit great, looked sharp, high quality materials. I returned it because I needed a life jacket, not a buoyancy aid. My mistake.
